Mindfulness courses are available in South Devon. The 8 week MBSR, MBCT, Introduction days and retreats are available.

Mindfulness Introduction

This day-long course will give you an introduction to the practice of mindfulness to better manage stress and enhance your overall wellbeing.

Mindfulness 8 week MBSR

The 8-week Mindfulness course is suitable for those new to mindfulness, as well as those wishing to refresh and practice their skills.

Mindfulness Retreats

These are usually held at Sharpham and can be booked directly with them. There are 3 Day Mindfulness for Beginners, Mindfulness and Yoga, Taking Mindfulness Deeper, usually 3 days.

Lynne Holmes - Course Leader

Lynne Holmes - Mindfulness Devon

Lynne Holmes initially trained as a nurse in the 1970’s , a Health Visitor in the 1990’s and changed direction when she trained as a Psychotherapist at Metanoia in 1995.

Lynne has been meditating in the Buddhist insight meditation tradition for 20+ years and has a daily practice. She has also attended many meditation and Yoga retreats in UK and India and is fully committed to bringing heartfulness into her practice and teaching.

Lynne trained in secular Mindfulness at the Oxford Centre for Mindfulness with Mark Williams, Bangor University with Becca Crane and Exeter University with Willem Kuyken.

She teaches private Mindfulness groups around the Ashburton / Totnes area and also for Sharpham Trust.

She has also trained to teach .b for adolescents and .bfoundation for school teachers. Recently she has trained in Mindfulness for Life for the Myriad trial at Oxford Centre for Mindfulness.

She supervises indivuals in their Mindfulness group work and also assesses Mindfulness students using the MBI-tac assessment tool.
